WHERE TO STAY

The newest hotel on The Strip is Resorts World Las Vegas & it’s safe to say that we are obsessed. Resorts World is made up of 3 hotels that range from affordable to luxury…

…so there is something for everyone!

Resorts World is owned by the Genting Group from Malaysia, so there are many Asian influences throughout the resort, but each hotel definitely has a different feel to it!

During our first trip to Resorts World, we decided to stay at the Hilton & we were very impressed! The room is a nice size with a super comfortable bed & additional table & chairs. The bathroom was a nice size & modernly designed, too. We had a room with a full strip view which was great. The only downside is that the Hilton has a large LED screen on the outside of the windows, so you don’t get a full view. The LED screen runs nonstop as well, so the lights did wake us up a few times in the middle of the night, even with the window curtains closed. We wanted to be transparent about sharing this information, but this wouldn’t deter us from staying at the Hilton again, but Resorts World has Conrad & Crockfords, too, which are nicer options!

One of our favorite features in all of the Resorts World rooms is that they have an additional empty fridge next to the mini-bar (for storing essentials like poppin’ champagne bottles). We bought some alcohol & water bottles for ourselves which we recommend doing so you can pregame in your room! We think the Hilton is perfect for couples planning a weekend getaway so please contact us here for help booking your stay.

The next step up from the Hilton is the Conrad which we really liked. This is the other main building of Resorts World which has better views of the strip since there is no LED sign on this part of the hotel! The Conrad also has larger & nicer rooms & bathrooms. You can also have adjoining rooms which are perfect for bachelor & bachelorette party groups! Please contact us here for help booking your stay.

The most luxurious option at Resorts World is the Crockfords, an LXR Hotels & Resorts brand. Crockfords rooms are located on the top floors of the resort, & they have the biggest rooms & bathrooms with a modern luxury feel. Beyond the rooms, Crockfords has the most beautiful lobby & casino. Everything is so modern, white, & bright, which is such a refreshing feel from typical Vegas hotels & casinos. Crockfords truly offers luxurious & top-notch service all around. From checking in with their tea ceremony to receiving a keepsake gold key, you will truly feel the elite service you expect from this luxury hotel brand. Crockfords is our top pick out of the 3 resorts & we love it for couples on a wedding anniversary trip. Crockfords also has multiple bedroom suites, villas, & palaces, which are perfect for groups! Please contact us here for help booking your stay.

AMENITIES

Beyond the amazing room offerings, Resorts World Las Vegas has amazing amenities, too. The gym is fully stocked with everything you can think of which we loved. The spa is beautiful & perfect for couples. We also loved all of the amazing pools, & no matter which hotel you are staying at, you have access to the pools! The Infinity Pool was our favorite. The VIP Pool Bar by this pool was the best & has the chicest boho vibes. If you plan to spend a day at this pool, you can rent a chair or cabana for the day. The other pool we liked was the Main Pool. You can grab towels & chairs for free & enjoy the pools around this area! There are other pools as well, but these two were our go-to’s.

Resorts World Las Vegas is located towards the end of the strip (past the Wynn) but there are so many amazing offerings on the property, you never have to leave if you don’t want to!

WHERE TO DRINK

There is no shortage of bars at Resorts World but we’re sharing all of our favorites with you here!

Allē Lounge on 66, located on the 66th Floor of Resorts World, has amazing views of the strip, top-notch cocktails, & the best truffle chips. I loved the Yuzu Lemon Drop & Richie loved The Perfect Blend. Remember to make a reservation!

Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den, located in the Famous Foods court, is the place to go for the best speakeasy vibes. Ask for the Bartender’s Choice for a handcrafted cocktail & a beautiful presentation.

Gatsby's Cocktail Lounge is located in the casino & has fun cocktails like the champagne bubble bath - perfect for bachelorette parties! If you are checking into Crockfords, make sure you stop at the Lobby Bar, it is beautiful. As we mentioned earlier, the VIP Pool Bar is the best bar by the pools & it’s located in the Infinity Pool section.

The Eight Lounge Cigar Bar would be perfect for a bachelor party, as well as Red Tail & Dawg House Saloon since these are the main sports bars. In the main casino, there is a middle bar, & if you play enough video poker, you’ll get free cocktails! But you can obviously get free drinks gambling elsewhere, too!

Jalisco Underground opened right after we left, but it’s a tequila & mezcal bar so it will obviously be amazing!!! You know we love our Cabo vibes!

WHERE TO EAT

As we mentioned, there is no shortage of bars at Resorts World & the same thing goes for their restaurants. Here is a list of our favorites!

VIVA! is an amazing Mexican restaurant that we loved! Make sure to order a skinny spicy margarita or mezcalita. Our favorite dish was the ceviche!

Mulberry St. Pizza is hands down the BEST pizza we’ve ever had. Order slices of the buffalo chicken, white pizza, & chicken bacon ranch. Thank us later lol.

Famous Foods is the Resorts World food court that is open for lunch & dinner. We loved sushi from Nori Bar & duck tacos from Fuhu Shack.

The Fuhu restaurant is the place to go for a bachelorette party! Make a reservation & order the Fuhu Sake Fall for your group.

For breakfast, our go-to was the Starbucks on the main floor by the casino, but Sun’s Out Buns Out is another good option, too!

WHERE TO PARTY

You can’t visit Las Vegas without going to a club, right?!

In the summer, Vegas is known for its pool parties, & they do not disappoint. We went to Ayu Day Club at Resorts World which was amazing! It worked out that one of my favorite DJs, Zedd, was the headliner on my birthday. It was sooo much fun! It would totally be worth splurging on bottle service here, especially for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. Richie & I opted to order drinks from the bar & hung out in one of the smaller pools around the day club. We made friends with another group who had a daybed & bottle service, & it was an all-around great time! We went on a Saturday in September & it seems like Saturday is the day to go for an amazing pool party. However, Fridays & Sundays don’t seem as crowded, so those would be fun days to go for bigger groups! Ayu Day Club gets the best of the best DJs to perform & we highly recommend going to have some fun in the sun!

Just like Ayu Day Club, Zouk Nightclub gets the best of the best DJs, too. Our friend from Cabo, DJ Flight, is now the resident DJ at Zouk, so we HAD to see him perform & it was amazing! The icing on my birthday cake is that he opened for Tiesto, so we got to see top-notch DJs on my birthday. They always have amazing shows at Zouk, so it is definitely worth getting bottle service for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party!

IT’S A PARTY

Both the day club & nightclub were amazing experiences, so we recommend buying tickets or ideally bottle service to both. We went to both on my birthday, but we recommend doing the day club & the nightclub on different days lol. Doing them both in one day was amazing, but we were definitely tired on Sunday! Last but not least, when it comes to clubbing in Vegas, we highly recommend checking out the clubs that are located at your resort to make it as easy as possible for your group. Luckily for us, we got to check out 2 of the best clubs in Vegas, & we must say they are worth seeing for yourself if you’re not staying at Resorts World.

ADDITIONAL ENTERTAINMENT

We aren’t the biggest gamblers, but Resorts World has our favorite casino. It is super bright compared to the others we walked through! We didn’t see any shows on this trip either, but of course, Resorts World has a theatre with an impressive show lineup!

WHERE TO ADVENTURE ON THE STRIP

We had a jam-packed itinerary as you can see, but we did manage to walk the strip one morning. Walking through the Venetian & Palazzo Grand Canal Shops are totally worth it. You can also take a gondola ride inside or outside of these resorts. It’s also worth walking to the Bellagio Fountains to see a show. There is a fountain show every 30 minutes starting at noon on the weekends & we can’t wait to go back & see the fountains at night next time!

WHERE TO ADVENTURE BEYOND THE STRIP

If gambling/partying isn’t something you want to do during your entire trip to Vegas, we highly recommend renting a car. Our flight landed super late on a Thursday evening (even later than expected due to getting diverted because of a sandstorm…), but we knew we didn’t want to rent a car from the airport, especially since we only planned on using it one day. Staying at Resorts World made it super easy to rent a car since they have a Hertz Rental Car desk. You get to it by walking through the casino on the main floor & walking past Starbucks. We do recommend renting a car online a few days ahead of time so you can get what you want! We opted for a Tesla which is about the same price as other cars & you don’t have to pay for gas. Richie had a ton of fun driving the Tesla so we recommend renting one!

Once we got our car, we had our list of stops we wanted to make & we started by stopping at the Las Vegas Welcome Sign around 9:00 am. This is a quick stop, but it’s a must to stop by & take pictures! Here is the tripod we use for our phone so we don’t have to ask anyone to take our photos :) I also love this portable tripod but it is not as sturdy.

After the Vegas Sign, we drove about 30 minutes into the desert to check out the Seven Magic Mountains. The drive there was nice & this was a quick stop to take some photos. We wouldn’t say this is a must-do since it is kind of out of the way, but it was definitely cool to see if you have time!

Next, we drove about 30 minutes toward Red Rock Canyon & stopped at a nearby Costco to get some water & alcohol for our room. Then for lunch, we found the closest In-N-Out burger! Since we don’t live in places that have In-N-Out, this was a must for us lol. We highly recommend it if you are visiting from somewhere where you can’t eat it often! It’s by far our favorite burger place (& sort of healthy if you order your cheeseburger protein style!)

Our last stop was Red Rock Canyon which was very cool to see. It was $15 to enter & you can stop at various trails to hike. We honestly didn’t get to hike as much as we hoped since we got there later than expected & weather conditions weren’t great due to the sandstorms. However, it was still beautiful to see & drive around the entire park. If you love hiking, definitely stop here first on your mini Vegas road trip to get the most out of it!

While we had a blast living it up on the Vegas strip, we also had a ton of fun exploring other parts of Vegas, too! We got back to the resort around 3:00 pm & we think this type of adventure is perfect for couples on a wedding anniversary trip or to celebrate a milestone birthday like we were doing!

outfits to wear for outfit changes while adventure beyond the Las Vegas strip for couples photos!

WHEN TO VISIT

To enjoy Vegas pools & pool parties, we highly recommend visiting in the summer. While it rained a few mornings during our trip, the weather ended up being perfect during the day in mid-September!!
